At JTH Mission, we believe education, nourishment, and compassion are the building blocks of a better world. Throughout 2025/2026, your generosity allowed us to provide a lifeline to families and individuals facing their hardest moments. From the local parishes of Western Australia to remote communities in India, your contributions are creating a lasting legacy of hope.

Global Reach: Changing Lives in India

One of our deepest commitments is to a number of families and individuals in India. During this reporting period, we hit significant milestones:

• Essential Living: We successfully provided the second annual payment of $1,200 to cover food and daily needs to support three orphaned children in Tamil Nadu, India.

• Education: We continued our three-year schooling commitment, sending another $700 to a young student to remain in the classroom and continue her studies.

• Life-Changing Surgery: JTH provided $1,370 for corrective surgery for a child born with an incomplete cleft palate. This procedure was vital for their speech development and overall health.

Local Heart: Compassion in Australia

JTH continues to stand by our local community and the dedicated volunteers who make our work possible:

• Support for Skilled Workers: We provided $5,000 in combined medical and funeral assistance to the families of two overseas skilled workers—both regular volunteers at our Bunnings sausage sizzles—who faced tragic family losses.

• Parish Support: JTH contributed $2,000 to assist a parish priest with the medical and funeral expenses of a close family member.

• Simple Kindnesses: We continued our Father’s Day tradition at St Peter the Apostle Parish, distributing chocolates as a token of appreciation for local fathers.

Our Core Programs

Our work is structured across two primary pillars designed to foster long-term stability:

• Education Programme: Focused on Western Australia, we support children (6–15) and youth (15–25), with a dedicated focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and those experiencing financial disadvantage. Our initiatives include donating essential school stationery and hygiene supplies – such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and deodorants – to communities in Broome and Vietnam.

• Assistance in Times of Need: This programme provides practical crisis support – including medical care and emergency funding – to families across Australia, India, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
