At JTH Mission, we believe that education, nourishment, and compassion are the building blocks of a better world. Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to support children, families, and communities in need—both in Australia and overseas. Here’s how your contributions have made a lasting impact.

Empowering Children Through Education

Scholarships in Vietnam, India, and the Philippines

Education is a pathway out of poverty, and your support has enabled us to provide: $5,637 to cover school fees for 50 students in Cai Mon, Vietnam, in partnership with the Lovers of the Holy Cross Convent. $1,200 per year for three orphaned children in Tamil Nadu, India, ensuring they have food and basic necessities. $700 per year for a 13-year-old student in India, securing their education for the next three years.

Music for a Brighter Future

In the Philippines, we funded $3,000 worth of musical instruments for Sumnanga Elementary School in Sabtang Island. These instruments will benefit approximately 40 students per year, enhancing their musical skills, cognitive abilities, and sense of community.

Providing Food for Families in Need

Food Aid in Kolkata, India

Hunger remains a critical issue, and through the UTHANA Mission, we donated $1,000 to provide daily meals to abandoned and homeless elderly individuals in Kolkata, India.

Supporting Children with Disabilities

Play Equipment for Children with Autism & ADHD

Recognising the importance of play, neurodiversity, and sensory needs, we funded $2,955.50 for the purchase and installation of backyard play equipment for 6-year-old twin siblings diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in Perth, Western Australia.

This essential support helps improve regulation, play skills, gross motor skills, and a culture of acceptance and understanding, where neurodivergent individuals feel valued and included.
